Our aim is to offer all children a world class curriculum meeting the needs of each individual child and preparing them for their future by offering a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities and experiences.
In Year 1 the children are encouraged to extend skills achieved during their time in Early Years and staff work closely with Nursery and Reception to offer continuity and smooth the transition into Key Stage 1. Days become slightly more formal as the children move into Year 2 where they will take part in the STATS assessment towards the end of the year. This assessment allows teachers to plan the learning for each individual child as they enter Key Stage 2.
School starts at 8.50am until 3pm and includes a morning and afternoon break as well as lunchtime. The children all wear the full school uniform.
