“Outstanding” across the board - Ofsted report  October 2008

Trustees, staff, parents and children at Franche 726 are celebrating today as their childcare provision for the 0 – 5s has been awarded the highest possible grade of “outstanding” across all fourteen inspection judgements.

“In this inclusive setting, the needs of all children from birth to five are extremely well met by knowledgeable and caring staff who place great emphasis on safety and well being” – Ofsted Oct 08

Wraparound

Wraparound offers a wraparound facility of care for children aged 3 to 5 and attending Nursery at either Franche Community Primary School Nursery or other local nurseries and is available from 7am to 6pm. There is also the facility for full day care if required.

Early education is integrated with first class child care and by working closely with Nursery and Reception the quality of provision and delivery is excellent.

The staff all work together to plan and assess the children's progress. This information is then transferred to the relevant Reception Class. All gained from having an 'outstanding' Nursery Teacher and an Advanced Skills Teacher in the school.

Franche Community Primary School is a Food for Life Partnership Flagship School and offer home cooked lunches from local and seasonal fresh food.

Wraparound offers all children a hot meal every day chosen from a specially prepared menu and cooked in the award winning kitchen.
