CAR PARK RULES
New procedures are being trialled for use of the school's on site car park. The new rules have been drawn up because of concerns about safety. Our car park now has the following clearly marked designated bays: Franche 726 & TOTS (4 spaces), Franche Children's Centre (2 spaces); Blue Badge disabled bays (2 spaces), a total of 8 spaces in all for parents and carers to use. The gates to the car park will be manned during busy times (8.30-9am, 2.45-3.30pm) and if the designated spaces are full drivers will be turned away until a space becomes free. All cars using the car park will also be monitored and car registrations taken to ensure appropriate users are using the correct spaces. Double parking will no longer be allowed. We hope the new measures mean that those people who desperately require parking are given priority. If you have any concerns or require clarification, please contact the school office.
THE BIG TIDY UP
Children in Reception and Year 4, with the help of a Womble, donned bibs and gloves to pick up rubbish around White Wickets as part of The Big Tidy Up project. With help from council officers, they picked up discarded paper, wrappers and other litter around the children's play area, bike track and playing fields.
