A huge thank you for the brilliant turnout at Franche's Christmas Fair and Santa's Grotto on Friday...it was a dazzling success and has put us all in the Christmas mood! We'd like to send our congratulations to the wonderful ShowStoppers who entertained visitors with their singing and movement and to parents, staff and supporters who helped put on such a great night.

Christmas decorations are now slowly appearing all over the Franche school site, indoors and out. It's a magical time of the year for our little ones especially and we've got lots of great festive activities lined up for them.

Children across the school are busy gearing up to show off their acting, singing and dancing talent on stage next month. They can't wait for you to see them in their festive gear. A full list of dates and times is in the Diary listing.

Look out for your child coming home with information about any costume they might need, or any lines they need to learn. Your help is very much appreciated.

More than 4,000 people swarmed onto Franche's field to enjoy the brilliant fireworks and bonfire night. The total raised is more than £14,000, which is great news for our pupils. Every penny raised by our PTA goes to support school activities, events and equipment, all for the benefit of our children.

The PTA and school leadership team will now sit down and work out how best to spend the money. Watch this space for more news!

New procedures are now in place for use of the school's on site car park. The new rules have been drawn up because of concerns about safety. Our car park now has eight clearly marked designated bays for Franche 726 & TOTS, Franche Children's Centre, Blue Badge disabled bays. The gates to the car park will be manned during busy times (8.30-9am, 2.45-3.30pm). If you have any concerns or require clarification, please contact the school office.
