Olympic Torch

As you may already be aware, the Olympic torch Relay will be passing through Kidderminster next Thursday. The torch will be arriving at: Cleobury Mortimer at 2:47pm, Far Forest at 3:08pm, Callow Hill at 3:16pm, Bewdley at 3:33pm and Kidderminster 4:35pm.

A full list of roads being used has been publicised and a copy was printed in this week’s edition of the Kidderminster Shuttle.

We appreciate many of you may like to take your child/ren to watch this momentous occasion and so we are giving parents the option to collect pupils at 2pm. We do anticipate big delays in traffic as certain roads will be closed.

We are therefore asking for your help in notifying us of your plans for collecting your child/ren on that day. Children have been given a letter to take home for parents to complete and return to the school as soon as possible. Please remember, Franche 726 will be open from 3pm until 6pm if you anticipate being late. Please call Sarah on 01562 751788 to book.

N.B. If your child has not been collected on time, staff will continue with our normal process of taking children to Franche 726 and you will be charged accordingly.
