HELP STILL NEEDED FOR BONFIRE!
The hugely popular Franche Bonfire and Fireworks is on Sunday November 2nd (end of half term holiday week). Gates open at 4.30pm, bonfire lit at 5.30pm, fireworks at 6.15pm. Parent helpers are still urgently needed on Saturday or Sunday. Please turn up any time on either day and report to Reception or the field where PTA organisers will advise you how to help. There will be a BBQ, bar, hot pork rolls, toys and sweet stalls. Always a great family night out. Entry costs £12 for a family of four, £5 adults, £3 children. Thanks for your support!
CAR PARK RULES
New procedures are now in place for use of the school's on site car park. The new rules have been drawn up because of concerns about safety. Our car park now has eight clearly marked designated bays for Franche 726 & TOTS, Franche Children's Centre, Blue Badge disabled bays. The gates to the car park will be manned during busy times (8.30-9am, 2.45-3.30pm). Car registrations taken to ensure appropriate users are using the correct spaces. Double parking will no longer be allowed. We hope the new measures mean that those people who desperately require parking are given priority. If you have any concerns or require clarification, please contact the school office.
THE BIG TIDY UP
Children in Reception and Year 4, with the help of a Womble, donned bibs and gloves to pick up rubbish around White Wickets as part of The Big Tidy Up project. With help from council officers, they picked up discarded paper, wrappers and other litter around the children's play area, bike track and playing fields.
THANK YOU TO OUR WONDERFUL CHILDREN!
The response from all children to our new style Home Learning project on the theme of Field to Fork has been truly phenomenal. The quality of the work handed in so far shows great care and effort by the children and wonderful support from our parents. Our staff will be busy assessing over the holiday and during the first part of the new half term. Feedback will be given very soon and prize winners announced.
